Pei Wei Asian BBQ
We’ve been touting the merits of our “Live to Hard Drive” and “Live to Web” video productions for a couple of years now. You know, these are the videos that we shoot and send either straight to a hard drive for web posting or we steam live to the web for immediate, real-time viewing? They are high-end video productions that require no post-production.
We just finished our fourth episode of Pei Wei’s “East of Usual” Live Cooking Show and after a week of reflection and number-crunching, we can say without reservation that it was the best show ever. If you missed the show, check it out here. The list of accomplishments for this most recent installment includes:
- - A dynamic show that offered great information delivered by two entertaining hosts to a potential international audience of over 100,000 Facebook friends
- - A four-camera production that featured a full inventory of graphic elements including lower-thirds, recipe cards, pre-produced video clips an animated show open and close
- - A forty-minute Livestream broadcast that went off without a single hiccup
- - The production of five additional cooking vignettes, shot the morning of the live show and re-purposed for Pei Wei’s Facebook page
- - A solid, crew that worked seamlessly and professionally despite having never worked together before
- - A satisfied client that has been able to stream over 60 million minutes of their shows, that feature their brand and promote their products to a receptive and enthusiastic group of friends, fans and customers
We are honored to be part of this team and are even more convinced that these shows are the future. All they need to succeed are: a client that believes in the process, some good, solid pre-production and a production company committed to using all the new technology to make it happen.
Thanks to everyone who took the ride with us this time!
